[ltp] T23 usb boot problem

I have a hard disk that I used in a long gone T42 that I put in a USB
case.  I was not able to get it to boot on my T23.  As I recall, I got
a kernel panic related to a lack of USB modules in the initrd.img file.
I've not pursued it further to know where the problem is exactly.
