[ltp] C4 state on x60s - any news?

Hi, I just recently compiled 2.6.21 to check out the power saving potential of
the tickless kernel with powertop. It seems like I identified a lot of the
processes that wake the kernel up rather often, and I can get to a decent
wakeup rate of around 45-50 wakeups/second on a completely idle system under
KDE. Now what strikes me is that the cpus only go as far as C3, and C4
doesn't seem to be available at all. I read through an earlier discussion on
this list on that specific topic, but found no solution. Now my question - is
there a way to enable C4 on an x60s? Maybe a bios upgrade?

Thanks in advance!
