Short introduction: I am a owner of a new T61, with intel graphic card.
It's becoming my first Linux laptop and I just installed Debian.

Now to your mail: Seems you suggest to remove all the tpb and thinkpad-*
stuff. How can I get volume, brightness and all the other keys to work
then? Could you then recommend a kernel, patch, software package (X.org,
suspend...) combination?

PS: I plan to update the suitable ThinkWiki page with my experiences and
your recommendations.

Regards, Kai
