Hi all I cant seem to get xbacklight to work typing ... $ xbacklight nan and xbacklight -set 50 nothing happens xrandr --verbose says BACKLIGHT: 0 (0x00000000) range: (0,0) I dont see any errors from /var/log/ anyone have an idea what to try next my chipset is i945 and using linux 2.6.23.1 thanks for any ideas -- http://www.fernski.com
