Yes. The T60 lets you install 4GB but use only 3GB. The T61 lets you use 
4GB, but only on a compatible OS, like Windows Server 2003 or Vista 
64-bit or a 64-bit Linux. 64-bit drivers for Windows are not as good as 
64-bit drivers for Linux.
