The Hrtimer-Patchset fixes the HPET-Detection for my t43. The
Hrtimer-Patchset is included in the rt-Patchset. You can try building a
Vanilla-Kernel with the HPET-Patchset which is avaliable from
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tglx/hrtimers/
