[ltp] suspend followed by partial resume

The system is fc7 on a T41 and 2.6.20, 21, 22, and 23 kernels. Suspend 
works well. Resume appears to complete, the screen comes up, and then 
the system re-suspends. Is this known? Is there a solution?
