I have the T61 with Nvidia 140m and Intel Wireless 3945. I installed Ubuntu
Gutsy last week.

I've been following the Thinkwiki instructions for Gutsy on the T61 but
cannot get the brightness controls to work in X. When I run the xbacklight
command, I get this message:
No outputs have backlight property
I googled for that message but could not find any information about how to
make it work.
I can increase the brightness by switching to a VT and pressing Fn+Home and
then switch back to X. I also cannot echo anything into
/proc/acpi/ibm/brightness - even as root I get "permission denied"

Suspend:
Suspend works but when I try to resume, the screen stays blank. I followed
the Thinkwiki instructions for the Nvidia card but it didn't help. I have
to do a hard-shutdown and startup to get it working again.

Please let me know if anyone has solved either of these issues.
