[ltp] Shut-down problem with T61

Hello,

I have a Thinkpad T61 7658CTO with Ubuntu 7.10 64bit installed.

I have a random problem when shutting down. It usually happens after 
using the computer for a while. So basically when I shut-down the 
computer it will hang at the end, a blinking cursor on the top left of 
the screen, but nothing else, nothing happens ever and I'll have either 
to ctrl+alt+del which will restart or turn it off by keeping the power 
button pressed.

Anyone any suggestions?
