Good idea. I have a Synaptics Touchpad, model: 1, fw: 6.2, id: 0x81a0b1,
caps: 0xa04793/0x300000. I am using synaptics-0.14.6-r3 from gentoo,
which applies several patches:

	synaptics-fixeventgrab.diff
	synaptics_input_api.diff
	synaptics-install-so-exec.patch
	synaptics-fix-xinerama.patch
	configurable_polling_interval.patch
