[ltp] Don't trust the kensington lock socket

I read an interesting take on the topic of securing computers from
theft in _Electronic Design_ some years back. It seems that there
was a rash of computer component thefts at this one outfit, and even
locking cables didn't help. The resident engineer got a Bright Idea.
He used a candle to put mark his monitor with streaks of soot and
taped a note on it to the effect that if his system caught on fire one
more time he was going to give up in disgust. Well, this particular
guy had no more thefts of _his_ equipment.

So, in a similar vein, consider disfiguring your laptop by buffing the
exterior with coarse sandpaper and maybe putting a few mild dents into
it. A thief probably would turn up his nose at a "damaged" laptop. . . .
