Correct. These are necessary for disk and cdrom.

This one could bring the trouble. As far as I know it will fight with
ata_piix for the bus.

Further I have CONFIG_SATA_AHCI=y, but CONFIG_PATA_LEGACY does not show
up in my config (2.6.23.12)

I am running a T41 (pata disk), and address the disk as /dev/sda
