Hi again,

with the optical drive inserted, thinkpad_acpi doesn't complain at
bootup and I get a /proc/acpi/ibm/bay file.

This is somewhat inconvinient, as I only switched to libata to be able
to boot with the battery inserted and insert the optical drive later
without losing DMA transfers. Now I'm again limited to boot with the
optical drive inserted, and when I insert the battery later. However, I
won't have a /proc/acpi/battery entry when the ThinkPad isn't booted
with the UltraBay battery inserted.

What can I do to solve this?
