I filed a bugreport, some time ago. Someone has tracked this issue down to =
two=20
patches which where introduced into the ubuntu kernel as well as into 2.6.2=
3=20
mainline. The workaround for the display being blank after resume was to=20
append the s3bios option to grub.

I am running 2.6.24 successfully for 3 days now, did 5 suspends in a row an=
d=20
everything is fine.
