[ltp] continuing problems with CF cards in a PCMCIA adapter

For me also, a USB to CF adapter works fine.  What doesn't work is an
"adapter" that fits into the PCMCIA slot in my T60p itself.  (The
adapter doesn't really do anything active at all as far as I know, it
just routes the electrical signals straight through.)

The problem also appears to be localized to T60-like thinkpads.
