what's a wireless-compat package ? Do you know what it includes ?
I use gentoo and 2.6.25-rc7 kernel...
But since 2.6.24 was the first kernel I used on this machine, maybe i
did not notice "how bad" it was before ?

cat /proc/acpi/ibm/thermal
temperatures: 45 47 47 41 34 ....

by the way, does anyone know where the sensors are ?
1 is cpu, 4 is gpu, 2 and 3 are heavily correlated with wireless
devices, so proably close to miniPCI slot.. ?
I can also identify battery bay(5 and 7) as it gets hot during charge...

cheers
Tom
