ok, I fixed the problem: It was the point http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_reduce_power_consumption#Graphic_controllers which told me to add the option "NoDRI" to /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Have I done anything wrong or is this a misleading advice? Maybe this section should be checked?… Arno
