This makes me wonder why my laptop seems to be emitting KEY_RADIO for this key according to "Input-events". Shouldn't it be KEY_WLAN by default? This is a T61 running kernel 2.6.27.

$ sudo input-events 4
/dev/input/event4
   bustype : BUS_HOST
   vendor  : 0x17aa
   product : 0x5054
   version : 16641
   name    : "ThinkPad Extra Buttons"
   phys    : "thinkpad_acpi/input0"
   bits ev : EV_SYN EV_KEY EV_MSC EV_SW

waiting for events
09:58:53.295557: EV_KEY KEY_RADIO pressed
09:58:53.295711: EV_SYN code=0 value=0
09:58:53.295787: EV_KEY KEY_RADIO released
09:58:53.295859: EV_SYN code=0 value=0
