[ltp] Booting from CF

Hi,

i "upgraded" a R51 1829 using a Sandisk Extreme III 16GB CF card
(the new, faster edition). After booting the card works very fine,
fast and battery-friendly. But the booting is a real problem: the
bootloader grub always starts and shows the menu. But the initrd
sometimes fails to load (crc error, system halted) or the initrd
is loaded fine, but it fails to mount the / partition (Kernel panik
or it droppes to the initrd-shell).

The card seems to work correctly: badblocks found no problems, no
corrupted files, no fs-damage, no errors in fsck (executed at every
boot for now, just to be sure), nothing in dmesg.

My guess is a problem the adapter, but i have no clue how to fix
this.

Anyone?

Thanks.
