claims the X200 and X200s can have faster CPUs:

X200s: "Up to Intel® Core™ Duo SL9400 processor (1.86GHz)"

X200: "Up to Intel® Core™2 Duo T9400 processor (2.40GHz)"

The X200s seems the sweet spot to me.  I agree that the T series machines 
are too large now.
