Yes, it is.  e1000e driver is protected against such crap, and the culprit
for randomly destroying memory has been found (CONFIG_DYNAMIC_FTRACE --
diable that thing!).

Is just a guy asking for help with a corrupted e1000e, and he does NOT say
anywhere that the corruption happened after the fixes.
