[ltp] Ubuntu 8.10 w/ T60p and FireGL 5250

I have the exact setup you do and 8.10 fixed all my video problems. Make
sure you start fresh by renaming /etc/X11/xorg.conf to something else as
backup. This lets the latest X do its auto-configure magic which in this
case chooses the open source radeon driver. 

Until now I've never had the 3 biggies working all at once:
- proper switch between internal (1400x1050, 4:3) and external
(1920x1200, 16:10)
- compiz
- suspend-to-ram

I was getting very frustrated with my ATI under linux until I loaded the
alpha of 8.10 months back. Huge thanks to the radeon team.
