I just stumbled over this mail, is the fact that you mention 2.6.25.16 
related to suspend not working on 2.6.26.x, x<4? or ist that a different 
issue? Because sind I updated Gentoo this week I can not suspend to RAM 
anymore (PC wont wake up).
