[ltp] T500 / GMA X4500MHD: LVDS / DVI switch from console?

Hi,

If anybody with a ThinkPad with Intel X4500MHD graphics has figured out
how to switch between the built-in screen and an external DVI monitor
*from the console* (not from within X), would you be so kind as to share
here how you are able to do it?
