Howdy,

can T60p users with a CoreDuo (not Core2), 1600x1200 display and a FireGL
V5200 please post their results of powertop?

I simply can't get below 23 Watts of power consumption with all the things
disabled or on low power mode that I can think of. I disabled PCMCIA, reduced
kernel logging and spin down HDD, disable bluetooth, have hda-intel and
iwl3945 in low power mode and the FireGL runs with

(II) RADEON(0): Dynamic Power Management Enabled

This machine runs Mandriva 2010.0 with 2.6.31.6-tmb-laptop-7mdv and the latest
ati-drivers.

One of the culprits (2 Watts or so) is the USB mouse, but even without this
and USB in suspend I simply can't get below 22,6 Watts.

I'd like to hear your experience, please specifically T60p users only; i know
that other model consume less power.

TIA

Peter
