The current oS 11.1 kernel has some issues, an update is on the way but taking 
quite long =/
It might be related to:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=463372

This affected every pre 2.6.26.10 kernel, so might be the true for ubuntu as 
well.
