[ltp] HAL and ThinkVantage

no, I didn't. I have hal 0.5.11 and hal-info 0.20081219.

The file 
/usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/30-keymap-module-thinkpad-acpi.fdi has this
 <append key="input.keymap.data" type="strlist">0x17:vendor</append> 
 <!-- ThinkPad/ThinkVantage button -->

but nor do I get an event via HAL (lshal -m) nor do I get an event via
the keyboard (I use evdev 2.1 now).

I do get an ACPI event, so that's what Im using now.
