Correct! It was my mistake! The correct error for loading "hdaps_ec"
have to be:
| modprobe -a hdaps_ec
| WARNING: Module hdaps_ec not found.

| $ ls /lib/modules/*/kernel/drivers/hwmon/hdaps*

| to see if the module is really there.
No! Only "hdaps" but still no "hdaps_ec"...

Are you also using Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex?
