[ltp] IO APIC resources couldn't be allocated

Every boot of my Thinkpad r50e with Debian GNU/Linux 2.6.29-2-686 send
this apparently harmless message to the screen,

  IO APIC resources couldn't be allocated

I find nothing in the BIOS I can toggle to make the message go away.
Maybe it is just saying that the r50e is older hardware that doesn't
implement that
