$ cat /etc/debian_version
5.0.3
$ apt-cache show tp-smapi-modules-2.6.26-2-686|grep Version
Version: 2.6.26+0.37-6+lenny1

A .deb user wouldn't get up2date information
anyway, so what's the point in pointing him to a
possibly outdated version? He will have to search
for the BIOS-update anyway and is likely to find
the latest version.
