Guess what: it works better!

I disabled KMS, ClockGating and DynamicPM for the xorg radeon driver,
enabled default_dynclk for radeonfb. Suspend no longer drains the
battery, no strange noises in suspend and the power consumption in
Xorg is lowered by 0.75W (10min after startup, idle desktop, no 3D
effects).

Problem solved (until the next kernel update).
