Hello everybody,

has anyone here made HDAPS work with the x100e?

I tried using tp_smapi 0.40 with a range of 2.6.3x kernels and while the
battery controls work fine, hdaps does not.

The hdaps module loads, and can claim the input devices etc, but any attempt to
use it (hdapsd, or hdaps-gl etc.) fails with "device or resource busy" and a
lot of the "failed requesting row" messages below.

  thinkpad_ec: thinkpad_ec_read_row: failed requesting row: (0x13:0x00)->0xfffffff0
  kernel: hdaps init failed at: hdaps_get_ec_mode failed
  kernel: input: ThinkPad HDAPS joystick emulation as /devices/virtual/input/input10
  kernel: input: ThinkPad HDAPS accelerometer data as /devices/virtual/input/input11
  kernel: hdaps: driver successfully loaded.
  hdapsd[10280]: Starting hdapsd
  hdapsd[10280]: Selected interface: HDAPS
  hdapsd[10280]: Selected HDAPS input device: /dev/input/event11
  kernel: thinkpad_ec: thinkpad_ec_read_row: failed requesting row: (0x11:0x00)->0xfffffff0
  kernel: thinkpad_ec: thinkpad_ec_read_row: failed requesting row: (0x11:0x00)->0xfffffff0
  kernel: thinkpad_ec: thinkpad_ec_read_row: failed requesting row: (0x11:0x00)->0xfffffff0
  kernel: thinkpad_ec: thinkpad_ec_read_row: failed requesting row: (0x11:0x00)->0xfffffff0

Any pointers on what to try appreciated.

Greets,
   Peter G.
