Hi,

There are a number of similar issues reported related to this type of card,
see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/+bugs?field.searchtext=intel+5300&search=Search+Bug+Reports&field.scope=all&field.scope.target=and
especially
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/548992, there were
various solutions discussed on these ranging from hardware issus to driver
related problems or even issues caused by the network-manager package, some
people report success with these, some see no improvement.

Sometimes it is even triggered by the type of access point that is used,
i.e. it works in the office, but not at home.

The syslog entries that you attached would point at Bug 548992,
unfortunately there seems to be no simple solution, only the various
suggestion that work for some people, maybe you can try a few of those and
see if it helps.

Dominik.
