     I have the high-end t520, running ubuntu 10.4 LTS. I'm not
experiencing lockups, but it seems to not quite resume from
suspend-to-ram - maybe it does, but the screen stays dark and I have
to reboot. I have yet to test this when I have spare machine handy
to try to ssh into it.

Hibernate (suspend-to-disk) seems to work most of the time, but
there've been a few times when it just failed to go into hibernate.

My sound seems really low, almost inaudible. I've tinkered with
everything I can (physical switches, alsamixer, pulseaudio, etc). The
other day it seemed to play a video with reasonably audible sound. I know
different files have different sound levels. For example none of my mp3s
play at a very high audio level, and neither did several random youtube
videos I tried, but *this* youtube video did:

I don't know, maybe there's some master "normal" sound level that
I need to tweak.
