Except for the quite rare, but still annoying lockups, that might be fixed=

in 3.0.0-rc3 almost everything I tested just works on my ThinkPad T520 out=

of the box.

But yes, with Debian Sid that is ;). I think in the meanwhile Debian=20
Wheezy should do as well.

And for the ExpressCard hotplug one needs to load kernel module acpiphp=20
manually.

So I do think that a Sandybridge based notebook is quite usable, when you=20
use a very recent Linux. With Intel graphics that is.
