Hi folks,

I need to use my t520's wired network (to configure a new
router/AP) but I'm not seeing eth0 show up at _all_. I've tried
everything I can think of i

If I plug a cat5 cable in, I get green lights on both ends.

ifconfig -a only shows lo and wlan0.

lspci didn't show an ethernet controller lsmod didn't show any
likely drivers, some googling suggested module e1000e.

     http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=11295928

Did "modprobe e1000e" and now it shows up in lspci, here's the
"lspci -v" output:

00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Device 1502 (rev 04)
	Subsystem: Lenovo Device 21ce
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 10
	Memory at d2600000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K]
	Memory at d262b000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
	I/O ports at 5080 [size=32]
	Capabilities: <access denied>

     But still no eth0:

$ sudo ifconfig -a
[sudo] password for puff:

          inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0

          TX packets:459305 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:505418643 (505.4 MB) TX bytes:82666246 (82.6 MB)

$
----------------------------------------------------------------------

On the unlikely chance, I checked BIOS, wired ethernet is still
enabled in BIOS.

     Any clues?
