[ltp] Any News Yet on the Upcoming Win 8 notebooks/ultrabooks with UEFI - Which Will Also Boot Linux?

I apologize if this is somewhat off topic...

I'm contemplating a new, small and light notebook around year's end. One 
option is also an ultrabook of some sort.

Given the controversy about Win 8's UEFI lockdown, and it being up to 
vendors to unlock the boot to Linux, I was wondering if anyone knows yet 
of any vendors who have committed to allowing Linux on their UEFI machines?

If so, I'll obviously look in that direction (Can You Hear Me, Lenovo?)
