0) This seems to be an ISO that consists of only one (rather large) El
Torito boot image.

1) See, at offset 0xD800 there's a boot sector of a 17809408 bytes
(34784 sectors of 512 bytes) hard disk image. That hard disk image has
one FAT partition starting at sector 32. Ie, that partition starts at
offset (0xD800 + 32 * 512 =) 71680 into the ISO. You can loop mount that
partition with
    mount -o loop,offset=71680 8nuj08uc.iso <mount point>

2) I know little about ISO images and I have no idea whether, and how,
you can change this hard disk image. But this should get things started
for you.

3) It would be nice if you add something to thinkwiki.org if you manage
to edit the BIOS splash image (which I assume is what you want to do).
