Hmm, are you sure no air is coming out?
It looks you perfectly know how to control the fan and how to
boost its speed, so I don't think you need any help with that.
But, if you turn the fan into the full speed and the air is not coming out,
I'd suggest sending it for service.

Unless, there are other mysterious issues known with T420.
