Mildly off topic.

After about a year of use I finally lost one of the rubber feet to my
6-cell battery on my X220. Sometime in January after they kept falling
off and getting gunked up, I eventually epoxied them to the bottom of
the battery. That worked really well, till today when I was trying to
figure out why the machine wouldn't sit flat on my desk. I've search
all through my bags, house, haven't been able to find the missing foot.

It seems like the design on the feet for batteries is thinner and more
flexible than the ones supporting the back of the laptop. Sadly I've
only been able to find replacement feet for the body of the machine
and not the battery.

Also the diversity in feet for Thinkpads in general is amazing!

Anyhow, Lenovo's site seems to only carry feet for the body, unless
"Battery knob" is it.

Does anyone have any magical sources for parts that might have this
thing? If not I might try my hand at casting some.
