Hey all,

I'm thinking about upgrading from my T520. It still has plenty of
legs, but a friend needs a laptop for professional purposes. I tried
to buy him a cheap laptop, but I just couldn't come to bring myself
to buy a non-thinkpad :-).

I'm not quite ready to buy him a brand new T530, but the thought just
occurred to me, why not upgrade myself and give him my old thinkpad?
My questions are, a) what do I gain from upgrading from the t520 to
the t530 and b) will the RAM and mSata SSD work okay in the t530?

Here's my current specs:

t520 with Nvidia
Intel Core i7-2720QM Processor (2.20Ghz, 6MB L3)
15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080)
500 GB HDD 7200 rpm
smart card reader, fingerprint reader, camera 720p, bluetooth 3, 9 cell Li-Ion Battery 55+
intel centrino wireless-N 10000
2 of Kingston 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 (PC3-10666) SODIMM Notebook Memory (M1G64J90)
Samsung 256GB Mini mSATA MZ-MPC256D SSD HARD DRIVE DELL P/N 0MTT20 PM830 PCI-E
