Anyone know if the later EFI firmwares support thinkpad_ec/tp_smapi better than the legacy bios? I have Arch linux running pretty smoothly, but I still miss hdaps (because tp_smapi/thinkpad_ec won't load). I wondered if the newer bios updates are better. Once I use them there's no going back though so I would prefer to know first if they're worth using. -- Robin Becker
