Hmm, that's partially correct.  The W500 is DP++, which does have HDMI/DVI
signaling in the cable, so a passive converter would work.

So, I stand corrected :-)

But that won't drive your display at maximum resolution, as DVI-passthrough
is not dual-link, and HDMI passthrough would still be limited to 1920x1200
(on the W500, at least).
