I know.  Yet I can't remember bumping into 12" or 14" TV sets, so I find
it unconvincing for this size of screens.  Note also that for smaller
screens, there are (cheap enough) tablets with screens that are either
16/10 or 4/3.

AFAICT, 16/10 is ideal for a 12" laptop (as in the X201) and 4/3 is
ideal for a 14" laptop (as in the non-wide T6[01]): it results in the
screen being just as wide as the keyboard.  Tho, actually, I have the
impression that the X201s form factor could theoretically accommodate
a 13" (16/10) screen, tho it would probably be difficult mechanically to
fit the wifi antenna and such.
