I guess I didn’t upgrade for a while, but I am seeing it as well. There were a bunch of changes to the hwdb entries in July 2016, maybe thye made their way into Debian by now? https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commits/master/hwdb/70-pointingstick.hwdb I do not know how POINTINGSTICK_CONST_ACCEL=1.0 maps to the settings in /sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/serio2/ though. Anyone else notice this? there is also this change to libinput, which might be related: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/wayland-devel/2017-July/034464.html Unfortunately, I find this all very confusing, and with the daily used trackpoint, a small change in behaviour is already quite irritating :-( Joachim -- Joachim Breitner mail at joachim-breitner.de http://www.joachim-breitner.de/ -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... It's been two weeks and to be honest I've gotten used to the slightly new behavior. I'll take a look at some of the details of that first bug you linked later today after work.
