[ltp] Xfree86 3.3.4 on the tp770x?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with
Xfree86 3.3.4 on the tp770x. I have only recently
purchased my 770X 9549-7AO and am wondering whether
to directly try 3.3.4 (which ships with S.u.S.E 6.2)
or to wait for some bugfixes coming in 3.3.5 (to be
released in the next few days). The video card/server
list for 3.3.4 states generic support for the trident
cyber 9397 chipset - has Xfree included Bill Mair's
patched XServer in the newest release or can i expect
a hangup on probing?
