When you modify the lilo.conf, you MUST then run /sbin/lilo as root for
your modifs to take place

hi
sorry if this was already asked but i have a problem having all my ram
being recognized

IBM 600 E (366 MHZ)
red hat 6.1

When the computer boots it displays : 228000 for the mem

So i edited the lilo.conf and added: append="mem=227M"
