[ltp] upgrade of bios on a TP600e...

You mean the kernel boots and then dies because it can't recognize the IDE
drive??

I just had that happen the other day, but I thought it was something I did.

I worked around the problem by adding : hda=833,240,63 to the lilo command line
(For the 6+ gig drive)
