Xircom Modem

Has anyone had any success with a Xircom CEM33 (Modem + Ethernet) PC card?

I've been having an assortment of problems getting it to work. System hangs
when card is in on bootup . . . pop it out, and system boots up. Then, after
the system is up and I pop it in, cardctl recognizes it fine . . . but I
can't get a ppp dialup (with linuxconf).

Just wondered if anyone has used this card successfully.
