[ltp] X core dumps on 770X

I found that too dude.  Sorry about the lack of useful information,
but perhaps you could make use of the following
CTRL ALT BACKSPACE  shuts down the X session (useful if it hangs)
shutdown -h now is the same as halt if you are root.
shutdown -r now is the same as reboot if you are root.

Perhaps you haven't configured your Xserver correctly ?
